A native Texan and long-time Austinite, Amy Brees has spent over two decades helping clients navigate the ever-evolving Austin real estate market. Rooted in the city’s iconic “weird” charm and inspired by its dynamic growth, Amy blends nostalgia with forward-thinking expertise — making her the ideal guide for anyone looking to call Austin home.

Amy’s deep love for the city shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s recommending a blue margarita from Azul Tequila or sending clients to catch a show at the Saxon Pub, she brings local flavor to every interaction. A lifelong music lover, her passion for classic rock led her to pick up the drums just two years ago. She now takes lessons at Strait Music and practices on her electronic drum kit at home.

As a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and Leverage Global Partners, Amy offers her clients access to exclusive listings both in Austin and around the world.

Originally from Vernon, Texas, Amy is a proud Baylor University alumna and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She and her husband, Chip, are devoted sports fans who can often be found cheering on the Westlake Chaps or rooting for Baylor Bears Football in the fall and Basketball in the spring.

The couple shares a love of travel and adventure, with memorable trips to Eastern Europe, Italy, England, the Caribbean, China, and their favorite — India, where they volunteer with The Miracle Foundation to help transform the lives of orphaned children. This winter, they’ll be heading to Antarctica — their sixth continent — continuing their journey to explore the world together.

Amy and Chip have been active members of First Baptist Church since their wedding there in 1988, raising three children in the same community that continues to shape their lives today. If they’re not at church on Sunday, they’re likely visiting one of their ten beloved grandchildren in San Diego, Denver, or Atlanta.

Amy brings her contagious passion for life to her work in real estate — and it doesn’t stop at the closing table. She’s known for staying in touch long after the sale, offering her clients support with everything from home repairs to local service referrals.
